Also more likely to check guests headed upstairs and have housekeeping report on excess guests.

This is not worth trying as: 1) presume that if your aunt is sick that the last thing she needs is the stress and humiliation of being caught, and 2) if caught you will get a very nasty surprise in your CC bill.
