I have an upcoming phx to ewr trip that will put me at silver. Do the benefits start instantaneously or does it take a few weeks for that to register ? I don't really care about the email or silver card .

I also have an explorer card but how do I use it effectively ? When boarding I never hear them call for explorer card users . Priority access is one of the perks isn't it ?
