I attended the LH Y+ "event" in Zürich HB (not the airport) yesterday.
Seat is ok - obviously (as we all know) it's not just a Y seat with more legroom like with KLM, but a better seat.
Personally I find it slightly worse than the Economy Comfort from TK (which they also use for short haul Business class, hint hint @ LH) which I personally liked quite much, but not much.
As SEN, I don't see much incentive to book Y+, as long as you can get an exit row seat in Y. If your body is more wide than tall, it might be different though
I mean, I would probably pay 100, 200€ more for Y+ (one way) even as SEN, but obviously LH think the difference should be more like 500€ (one way) - which is MUCH more than what I'm willing to spend. I mean, for what LH asks for Y+, I can usually score SU in "proper" C for about the same or not much more.
The product is good for Y+, but the pricing imho is too high. I gladly paid what TK asked for their product (around 1500 CHF Ex-ZRH to PVG, for example) - but LH is asking about 20-30% more than that, which is just out of the "comfort" zone for my purse for this kind of product
