Can't really check fare rules right now as I'm on my phone, but generally what happens is that, for changes prior to departure, you will pay the change fee plus the difference in cost of the seat at the time of the change. For bookings after departure you will pay the change fee plus any difference in cost based on fare rules at the time of booking. I'll check the rules when I get onto my laptop and update later.
