840 just flew overhead some two hours forty minutes after STD of 10.40 at 13.20. Interesting that it is listed on the UA website as departing at 12.40 (2 hours late) although it was not airborne for another 35 minutes. There are wind gusts starting so perhaps there are delays at Sydney's Kingsford Smith Aerodrome.

The aeroplane is now listed to 'arrive' at T7 instead of the now usual TBIT for 840

I do remember once, many many years ago, being held on board the aeroplane from SYD (when it was flight UA816) for 15 or 20 minutes until facility opened one morning after favourable headwinds east bound across the Pacific
