I'm not being "disdainful" and most aren't on here (it actually sounds like you are, to be honest). As someone said it's a shotgun marriage we didn't want, but we're stuck with it. You're certainly as entitled to your opinion as I am to mine.

But the sheer number of AA elites are going to flood the US planes to a degree that will blow away the chances to have many upgrades trickle down if they were all free for everyone. Especially giving out free companion upgrades. there just aren't enough seats up front. You can say that's not Proven yet but it's just math.
