The difference that a day makes is that (from the perspective of pmAA plat and golds) we dodged a bullet for AAdvantage had DP gone with UDUs and 4th tier. Whether DP decided it due to a heavy hangover or made a wise choice we'll never know the reason, but I gather from JonNYC's post that it almost didn't work out this way. I'm relieved it did, though, so for that I'm gonna say thanks to the dude. Thanks for not screwing it up Dougie.
