I can't find a way to contact Serve outside of calling and sitting on hold and playing the phone maze...has anyone been able to find out why Serve would have made this change? It can't possibly be beneficial to them and I'm wondering if they're going to revert to coding as a purchase or if I should cancel my Serve cards.

How would this change NOT be beneficial to them? By coding it as a purchase, they are paying credit card fees to give you money.... They say up front that you may incur a cash advance fee by your bank, so they covered their tails. Its 100% not their fault that you still decided to load with your credit card
Just chalk it up to cost of doing business and move on like the rest. Or... follow this thread closer and you might have seen others datapoints first and avoided this.
