What is your Priority Club status?
Royal Ambassador

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked cheapest available. Upon check-in,I had been pre boked an emirates suite. the room was not ready at 1pm so they took me to the club but explained that i would have to pay for club.
having just been on a cruise Ive had so much to eat thought it good to take a break
How are the rooms?
Suite is 100 sq m
dining table full lounge and huge bedroom and big bathroom but dated, furnishings are old, but the room was clean.
How is the exec. lounge?
orange juice fresh squeezed fab view from outside balcony. didn't get to have anything else

What was your welcome gift?
Small box of arabic suites then they bought a lovely bottle of austrian white and more fruit.
Did you receive fruit in the room?
Yes

What was good and what was bad?

Good
- fab service after checkin and the room attendant was wonderful. gave me 6pm checkout with no probs( though PH and St regis did the same) and refreshed the minibar with what i wanted extra. lots of fab Aigner products.
Bad
- the fish restaurant only serves fish the meat restaurant only serves meat the 3rd fl only buffet. the yacht club on a tuesday only sushi. so very hard to find something for a meat eater and a fish eater.
the fish restaurant though on the breach wouldn't let me in with a sarong and they and tuxes on at 1pm.
noise from the street with loud motor bikes at 3am and the alarm went of in hotel at around 11pm

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
For what we paid, it was ok.... nothing special or memorable, but acceptable.

Would you return?
If I needed IC stays yes.
I like beach but prefer the Sadyiaat Island.and if not getting club get suite at SPG and HYATT which are newer and more quiet.
