I was thinking that since I have a CDN AMEX Plat, it's easy for me to convert those points to either SkyMiles or Aeroplan at 1:1.

EDIT: RBC Canada also has a British Airways-branded VISA but in order for me to maximize one of the perks (companion fare with $30k annual spend), I'll have to give up the AMEX Platinum.
