An FA once spilled a drink in my lap headed to SFO then connecting to NRT. I made them get my bag from checked luggage so I could change before the SFO-NRT. Back in my 1k days....

AA is responsible to make sure each and every seat is not peed in before they board the aircraft. IMO.
