Most of the time you need to call the TB customer center for partner flights. One way to reduce YQ is to fly to destinations that regulates it, such as ex-Brazil flights and to/from HKG, with TB you can also do ex-AUH flight to reduce the fee.

For 280k, I would use it for AUH-SIN/KUL/BKK J class.
