Used Apple Pay, got the offer
A few days ago I signed up for an offer, $5 off a $5 or more purchase at McDonald's.

I was feeling like gourmet food yesterday so I got a Big Mac meal, total with tax was $6.35. I paid with Apple Pay, which has the Amex card with the offer associated with it, and moments later I got the notification on my phone thanking me for using the enrolled card.

Neat, indeed.
