I believe the beach directly below the resort that sqlu05 referenced is Wylie Beach. It's an ok beach that becomes very small at high tide. The trail is pretty steep and conditions vary depending on how wet (muddy) things might be. I made the walk when we were there in July, but it's not for everyone and probably not best for kids or those without good balance. We had our 2 year old with us and stuck with the St. Regis beach, which I like (though the crowd can be a bit much).
