Well to answer my own question: yes!
Checked in to a Large King last night. Have the Bay/City/Skytree/Palace view instead of the Tokyo Tower view, but WOW! Absolutely stunning and well-equipped room, and close enough to a suite to make up for the unfortunate DSU policy here.
Andaz Tokyo is killing it. Off to see what breakfast is on offer.
