Also, if you want to sit toward the front, my (limited) experience is that you can generally find middle seats in the first few rows, as those tend to fill up later because people are looking for a bit more comfort with windows/aisles. Just make sure you check in as close to 24 hours ahead of your flight as possible so you can get a lower boarding assignment.
