I need advice for two international trips in 2015. 2 adults, 2 kids under 10 yo

me:
AA: 400,000, gold status
United: 40,000
delta: 40,000
chase UR: 100,000

spouse:
AA: 300,000
United: 10,000
delta: 10,000
British Avios: 100,000

trips:
1. after 6/10/2015: from LAX to NRT, ~ 7 days
2. Winter holiday, 12/2015: LAX to DEL 8-10 days

I started looking for NRT
a) thru AA, 92,500 + $60 for econ and econ plus
b) thru ba on JAL, 75,000 + $600. economy

I haven't started with india trip because too early for award flights

any ideas?
