This year Air Canada had its most profitable quarter in the company's history. Why wouldn't they just say "steady as she goes" and continue the good work?

We were all happy customers and the company was making money - they nailed it!

If my business was making more money than it'd ever made, I wouldn't be making any major changes to anything ... especially a major change that upsets my best customers.
