No, they will not. AA does not 'do' rollover EQM, and the cutoff is Dec.31, 2014.
However, you can qualify for Gold status with that flight on its own, depending on routing: As you say it'll be 18k EQM and you'll earn 1.5 EQP per mile flown on First/Business fares, those 18k miles will net you 27k EQP and let you qualify for Gold status.
