Current FAA rules for alcohol consumption are well known: No drinking eight hours prior to flight, and the blood alcohol content (BAC) must be below 0.04 percent. However, the new rule states that a pilot with a BAC between 0.02 and 0.039 cannot fly until a repeat test indicates that the level is below 0.02 or, that the pilot must wait eight hours after the 0.02 finding to fly.
There may have been changes since 1995 but I brought this forward because of the reference to the FAA.
