Virgin miles are not worthless at all. Fairly easy to build them up cheaply thanks to top cash back and tesco clubcard. Since they reduced the taxes on economy reward flights, they have been working out to be less than 400 each, anytime of the year to any of their US/Caribbean destinations. That includes the cost i have made to get the miles and the taxes.
