I booked a flight to PVD to MIA today using my US air miles, but I only booked it as a one way because I will be returning from Orlando, and there is no availability to get back to PVD from there. Being one way, I had to call, but I could only book using 20,000 miles(us air card holder). Should I have just booked a returning flight from MIA(or maybe somewhere else?) in december or a later date for the hell of it? I had to spend the miles as if it were a round trip, an at least this way it would have given me a half a flight in case I wanted to travel again next month? I probably wont be travelling again that soon, but still seems like a waste...
