My take on your summary for my own flying habits:
- Copays don't affect me as SE
- Who IKKs for more than 10 bookings a year? I certainly don't - unless of course you're in the business of selling your miles
- No more YQ on AC metal - Score!
- Don't care about the lounge access for 35Ks. Back when I was an E35K last year I wouldn't have cared either as I didn't fly internationally at all until this year.
- Believe it or not all my flying was AC metal this year. And why should you get SE status if you can't hit 50K?
- No more 500 mile minimum - oh well, this was worth a few K AQM/RDM to me this year but no biggie in the grand scheme of my overall earning this year
- E-up costs going up - this hurts but is not surprising, but I can deal with it
- 2 down to 1 nominee - no biggie to me, one is nice to have for the wife, my kid loses out but in reality she doesn't travel on upgradeable fares ever so no real loss
And I am probably one of the minority of SE that qualifies mostly with my own $$$, so I measure my flying spend and return quite closely. And the program still works for me.
