New to this sorry. I have spent almost two weeks arguing the toss with Virgin Holidays never had a problem in 14 years until now. I was more than happy to cancel the holiday and book direct, if it was up to me I would have, I think you are now duped into thinking you are getting a deal being a VFF never felt this way before and as for air miles with Virgin please don't get me started, they are pretty much useless/worthless, you really need to look into VFF as we did when the figures just didn't tie up with the book and online prices when using the call centre. The discounts have been reduced dramatically and yes I have shopped around since realising the discount was not as she had received 10 times before and yes I agree where as years ago Virgin could not be beaten on price, (we felt they had it sewn up perfectly), they certainly can now, the customer service is definitely not what we have received previously either. I think £13,000 is still a lot of money for a holiday and deserves better than a weekly shop customer service attitude, where depending on who you speak to or receive emails from you get a different answer, very frustrating. For the record from complaining we did get the breakdown on Monday, they used the Disney free dining offer as part of their discounted price??? never done that before it isn't a virgin perk????. Tonight I received an email from customer services telling me I cant have a breakdown, very poor customer service.
