Amani - but think it is more of a luxury riad

Fez, Morocco, a reader says this is the best! http://www.palaisfaraj.com/

Perched on a hill with fantastic views of the city’s bustling medina, Palais Faraj is not unlike most hotels in Morocco, where beautiful design harkens back to the country’s rich history and culture. But at this year-old property, that aesthetic is deepened with rare furnishings culled from the founders’ private collection of travel curiosities, including Berber jewelry, Central African statues, marquetry tables from France and lacquered paintings from Vietnam. One of the most awe-inspiring rooms here is the Suite Hammam, which once housed the 19th-century building’s steam bath and boasts vaulted ceilings, colorful tiled floors and a one-of-a-kind pink bathtub. Rooms start at $255; 16–18 Quartier Ziat, Derb Bensouda

I always loved the historic Palais Jamai in Fez ‪#Morocco‬ so I was very pleased to hear it will reopen 2017 after a major refurbishment.
