Now, the fact that it didn't occur to them to tell me that leaves me a bit lost. Couldn't they have sent me a letter or email saying 'we are waiting for your membership in the coop programme before we can proceed with the credit card'? Especially since I received the credit score query letter I thought everything was on track and they were just slow in processing the application.

Does anyone have experience with the coop programme itself? I understand you have to pay 100 SEK in the beginning to sign up, but you get the money back if you ever quit your membership again? Anything else to know about it?
Nothing really. It works pretty much the same as the Danish one. The saving you make by having that card will easily exceed 100.

I agree that coop bank people are not the most service minded people in Sweden - especially those in the credit department. I suspect that the credit check letter is an automatically generated one because we applied 2 times and we got 2 uc letters and we got a rejection once and never heard from the second application.

I found out I can double dip my card with okq8 visa (paid a bill via betalo), not seb/ikano bank.
