Return flight is a bit problematic, as just about everyone will have dined before leaving home/hotel.

The meal is a slightly shortened version of a full dinner. I guess the passengers who started in MCT may want to eat but the joiners at AUH will almost certainly need to sleep.

Full Breakfast service offered too, but you can have a full breakfast after a shower in Arrivals as an alternative which I find a bit more relaxing.

I hate to say this, but those flights from the Gulf leaving in the wee small hours could arguably be over-catered in F as I'm sure most of it goes to waste. It should probably focus more on very high end snacks as opposed to a full meal.
