Alistair, thanks. The video is re-assuring, but doesn't really help me in figuring out how you packed. Can you provide either clear pictures or a video that shows what you have packed and how? the video starts with your having packed the bag fully. I'd like to see
a) How the insides look exactly - top and bottom half (so I can know what you mean by heavier items at the bottom)
b) Where did you keep the gizmo pouch/cables - I'd like to see that section
c) Where you kept your toiletries
d) What happens if I am not carrying shoes (very often within the US) --> how do I pack without the bag falling over? Remember, my gizmos remain the same (and really, I'll bet most regular travelers carry as much electronics as I do, which is really only a laptop+ipad mini+a pouch full of wirers/usb/battery chargers/power cords)
Basically, a 'from zero' to 'fully packed' walk through - it may just be easy if you shot a single video. When you pack the laptop bag, it needs to reflect a realistic situation - i.e. laptop + gizmo pouch (your heavy laptop compensates for my laptop+ipad mini) but do remember to add your quart sized toiletries pouch and gizmo pouch in the front too.
To your question about images:
a) You need to use the 'direct image link' (usually ends with .jpg) of the photos you upload to pinterest --> there is a button called "Image" at the top of your pinterest links - that gives you a complex looking link ending in a jpg - copy that link, hit the "Insert Image" icon in the flyer talk text editor (yellow with mountains), paste the URL you just copied and you're done.
