Forgive my ignorance...I worked BELOW wing in the biz and again don't travel THAT much internationally. Why would the boarding pass not say *G? Every flight I get on I make sure the reservation has my aeroplan attached (so I don't have to go through the miles claiming process, seems to be a problem at MDE every time I go) and all my BPs from UA/CM/AV/AC always say something like *G AC725xxxxxx or whatever. At MDE/BOG they recognize it right away, sometimes they ask me for ID but not a lounge card of any kind.
Is there 1-2 particular airlines that can't display this for some reason? I kinda thought they'd all be using the same SABRE system or whatever and that this would be integrated there, giving them all the resources to do this.
I'll be travelling through GMP and HND in feb and I guess I'll have to take my card, I don't wanna be loungeless overseas!
