Dear arjunc,

I reached out to you for this VERY reason - an honest and detailed review on our Gate8 Cabin MATE - many thanks.

Without having the courage to listen to our customers and take on board their feedback, GATE8 as a company will not achieve it's goals. As we did with the GATE8 Tri-Fold we will listen and where possible implement a road map of improved features and benefits.

As requested, I will take some time out and respond to some of your points and provide alternative packing techniques to address the stability and creasing challenge - I will post later...as there are practical work-arounds that I want to share with you - not to disprove what you have found, but to offer a work-around that addresses your observations.

I'll upload some photos + video later to demonstrate - I will replicate as best I can what you have packed and use "home" shots NOT choreographed studio ones.

As with any new bag, it takes some getting used to and adjustments in packing to maximise the benefits - hopefully I can demonstrate, BUT I do appreciate that this bag may not be for everyone and is certainly NOT an alternative to the Tri-Fold which was built and designed for the Road Warrior.

Thanks again and best wishes Alistair. (GATE8).
