Flying from JFK to AMS, and I'm wondering if it is worthwhile to fly Saga class in Iceland air (with a short layover in Iceland) vs Economy Comfort on Delta. The seat pitch -- 40" on Iceland Air and 35" on Delta -- is much better, but for an overnight flight doesn't seem to make that much difference. Both offer 2-wide configurations.

With Iceland Air there is access to the lounge (which, in Amsteram particularly will be useful), but is there any other difference I'm missing? The cost (including upgrades to EC on Delta and bag fees) is virtually the same, so without a major feature in favor of Iceland Air, the direct routing on Delta seems preferable.
