I remember watching the news a few years ago about a Premier Silver member
suing UA over the loss of Economy Plus benefit to Silver members. I think it
was sometime between 2011 and 2013?

After searching Flyertalk for a bit, I can't seem to find anything about that
silly case. However, I'd love to hear about what happened to it. Anybody
knows?

Wasn't it kind of baseless? Silver members can select Economy Plus seats
at time of OCLI, as long as there is *any* empty Economy Plus seat right?
Or do they only allow a fixed number of Silver members to select Economy
Plus?
