This would have never happened if AA was not so set on squashing jetBlue at LGB and had suddenly wanted LGB-JFK flights after a long period of infrequent service to DFW only.

(Over Megaphone) "Don Carty...we know you are in there...put down the LGB slots and walk away from the terminal!!"
