[QUOTE=MaydayMayday;23693918]honestly...(and it pains me to say this), but it's not very valuable to me at all.
take what I say with a grain of salt considering my travel patters are as follows: 60% US, 30% Asia, 10% Canada
the best benefit of SE (beyond IKK) is concierge but in the 91 AC flights I have taken so far this year, I have used them a grand total of 2 times (both at LGA)
I have never needed them internationally or in Canada and even when I have faced delays or even cancellations, a simple chat with the gate agent or a quick call to reservations has helped me sort the problem out. If anything, the really short wait times when making those calls has probably been more beneficial to me than concierge.
In any case, for something to be a true benefit to me, I have to experience that benefit more often than not. If the concierge benefit is only reserved for those in desperate need due to cancellations and such, to be honest, it's not a big benefit in my eyes because even after all this flying, I just don't find myself in those situations that often.
This year I didn't plan on getting SE. I actually switched a considerable portion of my travel to Delta and have reached Platinum status with them already. Next year, I'll hopefully make Diamond with them and maybe 50K with AC because SE really doesn't mean much to me anymore.[/QUOTE
.????. SE really does't mean much to me anymore and you fly to Asia! Can I say one thing. Upgrades/PODS. Delta has gotten a lot better, but their J does not match AC.
