I had a flight booked on Expedia with multiple carriers, I was unable to cancel it after 24hrs, I have (in the last hour) since paid the change fee and rebooked, now I see an option to cancel flight..it reads "Free Cancellation until Monday Oct 20th 11:59pm"

Does anyone know if that will work and refund the total amount and wipe the slate clean - so I can rebook on different carriers?
