I am not kidding when I write this.

If I need a new suitcase I check in luggage when flying back to Sydney.
I usually don't check in anything and always carry on.
When I do check in something it is likely to be broken... probably 50% of the time.

I've had 2 new suitcases one thanks to CX and one thanks to QF.
The luggage centre at Townhall both times saids I have x-amount and can choose what ever I want... they say airlines prefer to get things fixed, but I always had to fly the week after and can't wait.
