I'm male. My only concerns are getting to the airport earlier enough to observe airport operations, getting to the gate in time to ensure that I am #1 on the VDB list, and ensuring that I am armed with as much possible information regarding alternative routings as possible.
I have no worries about flight departing on time or any of the other issues mentioned in the survey (e.g. legroom, airport security, seat selection (I always do early assignment), boarding order, airport parking (whenever possible I utilize public transit, If I must park, I just arrive earlier), or overhead bin space. To me all these are non-issues; things that only people who don't enjoy travel concern themselves with.
I frankly don't understand those who don't view every moment from arrival at the departure airport until landing as anything other than great.
Legroom has never been an issue for me unless I am paying very little/free for a LCC ticket (in which case I will tolerate just about anything.)
As for alternate routings, most of the routes that I fly have very many and memorising the OW partners gets easy after a while.
In some cases, knowing alternate routings is not the problem, getting the UA agents to do anything is another...
