Thanks for your report. We stayed in these two hotels for a very simliar trip almost exactly one year ago. It was very nice to be reminded of that great trip by your report and fotos.

Overall our experiences were very similar and we found Istanbul and Amanruya to be a great combination. At the FS we were upgraded to a very nice suite which we enjoyed a lot. Different from your experience we found the dinner at the FS restaurant a little disappointing and tried out more local restaurants the other nights.

At Amanruya we experienced considerably more hickups regarding service and food than you. Even though it was nothing major I am glad th hear that these issues seem to have been ironed out.
