Hello botb! I have arrived with aa a few times from mia and jfk and my experiences of course matches cws's. Can be a very long walk to the airside bus, and then the usual nonsense at t5 immigration/security. They seem to work well with ba for late connections should anything go wrong - i have even been met by an aa staff member and driven to t5 to get a connection and i was only aa platinum at the time. A one off, but i always felt looked after with aa when things go wrong, there always seemed to be someone assigned to my situation and it was sorted out. Im on the 77w for the first time for my trip back to gcm via mia, looking fwd to it! Hopefully we can meet again to drink away our woes from dropping to silver in the very near future...
