No hate from me... I don't know the guy. But a general dislike for most politicians who are in the game purely for their own benefit and also for incompetence. And I see both of those things in him in abundance, and no redeeming qualities whatsoever unless you count his charisma and his ability to manipulate people and the press (and those are valuable things to have, but it would be nice if they were (also) used for the good of an employer).

I really think he should have never been allowed to work for KLM that soon after he left politics in a role where he was responsible for that same company and made decision that directly affected KL. It shows a lack of ethics and probably a lack of integrity as well.

What I also dislike is that someone with hardly any experience is appointed as the head of a division or a company that clearly needs strong leadership and extensive sector knowledge to make life or death decisions. How someone can appoint such a lightweight (business knowledge wise) as head of a cargo division that's dying is beyond me. Having someone with political connections can be a valuable thing in the relation with AF, but I have seen nothing where he was very visible in that role either. And you would need the support of your staff as well for that, something he also seemed to be lacking completely.

I know that what reaches the press can be tainted by people with other interests, but to me it seems that it's a good thing that this vain party prince has simply reached the end of his credibility both for the company and its staff.
