Are folks coming to the airport with hours to spare to go to a sitdown meal?
They are busy around standard meal times and are unique that they can be busy during non-standard meal times - for instance I'll eat lunch at 9am if I am flying back east to home. So sit down restaurants in confined environments do work. Sometimes it helps if they have TVs haha..
I also plan time accordingly as my goal when I travel is comfort, not rushing. If I need to fit in a lunch or dinner I have purposely chosen a 3 hour layover vs 1.5 for instance, depending on the hub of course.
