I've flown Virgin Blue in Australia and know they are doing very well there, but they really do not have low-cost competion (Jet Blue, Southwest), as would exist here if they start up in the U.S. Will be really interesting to see what routes they initiate. In Australia they took on a high priced carrier, who in turn had to drop prices to match them.
