Agree with these 2 options and if you are up for it, Zion Road is actually 20 minutes walk from the Hilton, though I wouldn't recommend it in the daytime when it can be quite hot. I would recommend Tiong Bahru more so than Zion Road because of the variety.

Also I would recommend to visit for an early lunch (maybe around 11-11.30am thereabouts) as both hawker centres would have more options open in the daytime than at night.

If you search online, you would also find various blogpost recommending the stalls to patronize in either market (especially Tiong Bahru).
