It's not shown on my online account, but I was reassured that I would get the stay credit. All I have is an email confirmation with a hotel-specific confirmation number, which should be good enough.
At least you had an email. The hotel did not contact me at all. I contacted Starwood several times telling them that I never received any kind of conformation. But when I arrived at the hotel, they actually knew me by name

(maybe because I was last to check in around 11:00 pm).
