If it is the reason, I just find your timing weird. As you say AZ has it, but so does DL, and now AF are implementing their new J which I have not tried year but will clearly be "up to speed" in general lines at the very least (same principle as CX J).
As for China partners, as
stimpy mentions, ST is by far the best of the three alliances in this respect.
