I want to know if anyone else has had this issue

Bought a Flex Fare ticket YVR-YYZ (777).
7 Days prior to departure I upgrade it and it clears instantly.
I check-in on my mobile device the same day and I'm prompted with an option to Standby Early (for no fee) as I'm now in Biz cabin (I assume).
I select the Early Standby for the flight just before -- but it's a busy day and I don't end up getting on the previous flight. I go to the gate for my scheduled flight and when they scan my pass they can't find my upgraded J seat. The system had automatically bumped me back down to EconomY!

Is this a glitch that others have found using Online Early Standby on eUpgraded flight?
