Birmingham News Article

"Bachus, R-Vestavia Hills, said he sent the letter to Secretary Tom Ridge after receiving no response from the TSA as to why no one at the airport had been told of the test.

He also wanted an explanation to four other questions: why the suspicious individuals were allowed to leave the premises; whether it would be prudent to have a senior TSA manager present to monitor the test and prevent disruptions; why the TSA had not responded to his inquiries; and whether the TSA would reimburse the airlines for any costs."

Also, the TSA should have to reimburse the passengers for inconvenience. I am pleased to see this disgrace of an agency getting the scrutiny it so richly deserves.
