A lot of people rag on the BOG Avianca lounge, I like it, it's clean, spacious, well laid out and has many different types of seats.
As far as food, I've never seen any meal food there, but that's typical of the star alliance lounges that I have experience with. They have little cheese sandwiches (which I like, but aren't a meal for sure) and other finger snacks. Drinks are around, not sure about booze or if you'd want it that early.
The seating is a highlight for me. There's tables and chairs if you wanna sit with people in the open area. There's desks with space for your laptop and chairs separately in another area. In that tech area there's also 4-6 laptop stations (they provide the laptop) sponsored by Samsung or something in that same area. There's also a small TV area, a kids zone with video games, a wrap around waist high bar (there's a couple iPads to use as well) and then the highlight! There's a sleep room! It's in the back corner, very little light so you don't need to have a mask, comfy recliners to sit in and in my experience there's very few people there.
There's also showers but I've never used em.
You should be in and out of terminal 1 so that makes things smooth.
I wouldn't say there's any "decent restaurants" in the terminal though. There's an Italian place I've never tried (in the food court) but I'm not sure it'd be open then, there's a burger chain, it's red, for the life of me I can't remember the name...personally I think it's awful. I usually stick with the Burger King there just because it's consistent and there aren't many options. The other place I like is a "pub" towards the widebody gates, you'll arrive in that area most likely, it's pretty good, I forget the name but you can't miss it, just not sure if they have breakfast.
