Agreed. BA introduced me to the (oaked) Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc, and when I see it in stores or online, I snap it up. Delicious.

Re: Cali reds, "Bedrock" is phenomenal. Mail Order or Vineyard purchases only, at select times of the year. The best Syrah/Shiraz I've had ever, beating all Australians at the same price point. I get a case regularly.

Back to the OP, disappointing. I don't drink either scotch or gin, but I'm disappointed nonetheless. I would feel your pain even more if Grey Goose plummeted to Smirnoff Red (which is about $US11 these days). Ugh.

That LH F lounge is looking finer and finer (I enjoyed a Don Julio Anejo there the other day...)
