I frequently have breakfast downstairs by the Koi pools at Aqua in front of Spice Market. The buffet is high quality and has a good mix of cooked to order items and buffet displayed items. The fruit in particular has a daily changing mix that is great and I appreciate. I do agree it can get hectic particularly around holiday times of visitors from CN and GCC- this though is true of almost any buffet in Bangkok and the hotel does the best they can to meet the demand.
The GM of the hotel is almost every morning at breakfast greeting guests as are a number of his team. I would say this is one of the better breakfast services in Bangkok.
